The Challenge
Toyota Landcruisers 70 Series do not come from factory with rear airconditioning yet on minesites where the ambient temperature is hot a secondary evapator unit is required
The Solution
Lyons were tasked with installing rear evaporators to Barminco’s Toyota 70 Series to provide cold air to the rear passengers in the vehicle. The slimline evaporator ensures that there is no risk of injury whilst driving in the vehicle. The system utilizes the factory air conditioning system to provide the cooling. This installation can be modified to suit other vehicles that also may require rear air conditioning.
The Result
Lyons continue to install these systems for Landcruisers and other large 4×4 vehicles which require rear cooling.
