Alcoa Huntly Case Study

Due to damage to a cabin, Alcoa required a new TFR7BX2 Sigma Airconditioner to be installed onto a PC3000 Komatsu Shovel within a short time frame.

Lyons were approached to supply and install a Sigma TFR7BX2 Sigma Air conditioner. The Sigma TFR7BX2 Sigma Air conditioner provides 7 kW of cooling and is designed for ease of servicing. The installation took two Lyons technicians one shift to complete, with the workmanship and finished product commended by Alcoa. The Sigma range of T series of airconditioners is recommended for mining applications due to it’s strength and reliability.
